Hey guys, this is Katie’s husband Mike with two brief updates about Katie’s main site.
First off, we’ve been tweaking the look somewhat over the last few weeks, so if you haven’t checked it out in a while, go to katiebeverley.com and click the button for “main site” to see what we’ve been up to. We’ve enlarged the home gallery and revised the look and feel to bring it more in line with the rest of Katie’s branding. Hope you dig it, and feel free to leave feedback/suggestions in the comments for this post.
Second, and (I think) more exciting, is the arrival of digital image downloads. Starting now, clients have a new option to download digital copies of their images straight to their Mac or PC. The files are sized to look great on a computer screen, and to make suitable consumer prints at up to 4″ x 6″. You can upload an image to Facebook or myspace, print out a copy for your desk, or take them around on your laptop and show them to people you meet at the airport. (Not that we recommend that last one, but still, the option’s there.) The best part? Each image is just $1.99. We’ve always offered clients the option to buy discs with digital copies of their images, but the on-demand and a-la-carte model of being able to pick individual images and download them straight to your computer is, we think, pretty awesome.
So take a second to head over to Katie’s main site and check out the new look, and if you’re a client with a gallery, scope out the digital downloads as well: betcha can’t download just one. (Sorry.)
