Sarah and John Anniversary!

I was so excited when Sarah contacted me about getting together with her and her husband for anniversary photos for two reasons: a.) I had never shot an “anniversary” shoot before, and b.) they wanted to shoot at Castle Rock State Park in Oregon, IL–the very place that they tied the knot about a year ago! A fun-loving couple that is willing to laugh at my dorkiness, and a gorgeous location in beautiful light…what more could a girl with a camera ask for? Here are some of my favorites from our session:

I’m thinking about ordering myself a sample canvas of this one. I LOVE it.

This one makes me happy…this is so JOHN!

A few in the amazing light before sunset…we literally ran to catch it and I think it was worth it!

Thank you, Katie, for taking such breathtaking pictures of my daughter Sarah and Son-in-law John. It’s so sad that this park is now closed.
