Kara and Wes are Getting Married!

This couple is so very dear to me. I’ve known Kara for about ten years…her sister Brenna and I were best friends in junior high and we have remained very close throughout all of these years. So, needless to say, with all of the sleepovers, long conversations that would last until we needed toothpicks to keep our eyes open, and crazy adventures that we shared growing up, Kara became like a sister to me! Brenna and Kara’s friendship will always hold a very special place in my heart and I am so blessed to know them. I could not be more excited that Kara found such a fantastic man to spend the rest of her life with. Wes and Kara are the perfect match and I feel so lucky to have been able to snap these images of them together. Here are some of my favorites:
*Edited to add* : These were all taken around Kara and Brenna’s family pond out in the country. I have so many memories of summer evenings spent out there. It is such a precious place for their family and is the very location where Wes proposed to Kara. I can’t believe I left out this info. before! We absolutely HAD to do the session here.

Thank you so much, Kara and Wes, for entrusting me to capture such a special time in your lives!
xoxo, Katie

Beautiful pics of a beautiful couple! I think that Kara’s family is the nicest group of people ever, so I love to see her looking so happy!!! The series is awesome–and I love the one with the Green coat–the colors are amazing!!!
