This post is long overdue! I haven’t been blogging very often lately because I have been sick for the past week and a half and it sure has slowed me down a bit! I am getting myself in gear, however, and am so excited to post these photos. Vanessa and Vince invited me to downtown St. Charles, the place where they met and fell in love. We kicked the night off with a fabulous edamame and sushi dinner at Matsuri in Geneva. They were so nice and didn’t laugh too much at my sushi-shyness. I am SO glad that I chose these two sushi aficionados to help me order for my first time at a legit sushi restaurant. Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos of dinner, but trust me, it was awesome! After dinner we strolled by the river and snapped some images of the two of them being who they are! I am SO excited for their wedding next month. They have such magnetic personalities and by the end of the evening it really felt like I was hanging out with old friends. (I just happened to be shooting like mad.) Here are some of my favorite photos from our evening.

We had to get some photos in front of McNally’s because it is the place that they met!

We went to Hotel Baker for some more photos. I LOVED the gorgeous decor and wouldn’t miss the opportunity to have fun with the revolving door in the entrance.
In the elevator…
Vanessa and Vince played pool on their second date at this very bar…I thought it would be great fun to go in and grab a couple shots at the pool table and I am stoked that they were up for it. I love how these turned out!
This just might be my favorite!

Thank you so much Vanessa and Vince! I had such a GREAT time with you two and your wedding is going to be off the charts!
